Store Book POS is an offline-first business management app designed for small shops. This policy explains how your data is handled.

2. Data We Collect

All data entered into Store Book POS is stored only on your device using a local SQLite database. This includes:

• Business profile (name, address, phone, email, GST, PAN)
• Customer and vendor contact details (name, phone, email, address, GST)
• Product inventory data (names, prices, stock levels, barcodes)
• Transaction records (invoices, purchases, payments, quotations)

3. Data We Do NOT Collect

Store Book POS does not:

• Send any data to external servers or the internet
• Use analytics, crash reporting, or advertising SDKs
• Share your data with any third parties
• Require user account creation or login
• Collect location data

4. Permissions Used

• Camera — used only to scan barcodes/QR codes for products. Images are not stored or transmitted.
• Storage / Photos — used only to let you pick a photo for products or your business logo. Images stay on your device.

5. Data Storage & Security

All data is stored in a local SQLite database on your device at the private app data path. This data is accessible only to StoreBook and is removed if you uninstall the app.

We recommend using your device's built-in backup features (e.g. Google One Backup) to protect your data.

6. Children's Privacy

StoreBook is intended for use by business owners and adults. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this URL. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
